STERILIZED APPETITE CONTROL

Before neutering, the cat's metabolism is in tune with the almost continuous intake of energy-rich food. The cat eats as much as it needs to meet its energy needs. After sterilization this natural regulation mechanism stops working - the cat eats more than it needs, which quickly leads to obesity.

In addition, some cats show an increased appetite after sterilization. Royal Canin Sterilized Appetite Control can, thanks to the increased content of a specific combination of dietary fibers, contribute to combating the feeling of hunger and thus limit food intake, while at the same time effectively treating the cat's appetite.

Royal Canin Sterilized Appetite Control dry food was developed specifically for neutered cats with a tendency to obesity:

controlled energy intake: through the reduced fat content (12%)

fewer carbohydrates: such as starch, which increase hunger

addition of L-carnitine: (200 mg/kg) enhances the mobilization of fat reserves

promotes urinary tract health: by controlling urine pH (pH 6 to 6.5)

strengthening and maintaining muscle mass: through the increased protein content (37%)

Poultry protein (dried), maize, lignocellulose, maize gluten, wheat, vegetable protein isolate*, animal protein (hydrolysed), animal fat, minerals, beet pulp, soya oil, yeast, fish oil, psyllium [seeds and peel], fruit -oligosaccharides.
